A key priority for Legendary Herbs is practitioner education. We use our website to promote knowledge acquisition by hosting a variety of free articles and offering book deals from our friends at Paradigm Publications. We also cooperate with Blue Poppy Enterprises, and we have links to their great research articles and blog as well.
Legendary Herbs consists of two people, Eric Brand and his father Charlie. Eric is a fluent Chinese speaker and an instructor and practitioner of Chinese medicine. He has published two books on herbal medicine and lectures frequently on issues such as the clinical use of granule extracts, herbal authentication, and Chinese medical terminology.
We feel that is important to work with manufacturers that make important contributions to scientific knowledge and research. The increased acceptance of Chinese medicine in the West depends upon an ever-increasing evidence base that shows the safety and efficacy of Chinese medicine, and we are actively involved in conducting our own research in addition to translating Chinese research articles for the Western community.
Finally, Legendary Herbs believes it is important to support the practitioner community. We recognize the critical role that practitioners have in providing excellent and affordable health care. Practitioners are responsible for selecting the best herbs for their pharmacy, and must establish a correct diagnosis, treatment plan, and professional relationship with the patient. In the interest of the patients as well as the practitioners, Legendary Herbs is dedicated to providing the practitioner community with the products, customer service and support needed to help manage their practice.
